It has become handier for users to connect their system to the Windows 10 computer. And then just sit back and take pleasure from the film, serial or show with a bag of popcorn.

Why this Dolby Home Theater not working issue?
Getting this issue on your Windows 10 could have many causes, but we are only aware that Dolby Home Theater cannot be launched. The other ones are as following:

- The Dolby Digital Plus feature may not be working.

You may have noticed that many of the users have encountered an error issue that basically says the current driver is installed, but the system requires an older version of the driver. That doesn’t seem right, so what could be the reason behind the problem?
So here an essential part to understand is that; it is occurring because the current Dolby Digital Plus audio driver is not well-matched or compatible with your regular audio driver. Hence, if you want to fix this problem, you must then make sure to have the correct version of both drivers that balance and complement each other well.
Remove the Audio Driver
- Firstly, tap the Windows Key and X simultaneously on your keyboard to open the Device Manager.
- When you see the window popping up, seeking out the category or file type titled Sound, video and game controllers and expand it.
- At last, you will need to right-click on the correct device name and then select the Uninstall option from the context menu.

Download & Install the Previous Version of the Audio Driver

- And then tap on the Driver tab.
- After that, you’ll notice something on the display that says Driver Version.
- Then you have to go on ahead and note the driver number.
Note: You first need to make sure that the older version has a number that is lower than the driver number you’ve noted.
- Now, from the same section, go little down, and you’ll get to see the Uninstall button.
- Here, you will need to tap on the Uninstall button. And doing so will remove the driver.
- Then you should visit the official website of your audio device. And here you can download and install an older version that is compatible for your device.
- After that, when you complete the installation process, you will need to restart your computer and see if everything has now been fixed and is currently working as it should.
